Hispanic Leadership Summit

  1. What is the Hispanic Leadership Summit?

    The New Jersey Hispanic Leadership Summit is a premier educational and networking conference, bringing together Hispanic Leaders from throughout New Jersey and neighboring region.

  2. Where will the Summit be this year?

    The Summit will be held this year at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ.

  3. Can anyone participate in the summit?

    Yes. The summit is open to anyone, from all areas of life, including business, education, faith-based and non-profit organizations, government and politics, as well as members from all ages and all ethnicities.

    Although the primary focus of the summit is to celebrate and further empower the Hispanic community, all are welcome.

  1. What type of workshops does the summit offer this year?

    The summit provides various types of summits, all designed with the theme of empowerment and leadership.

    This year's summit is offering the following workshops:

    3. Creando Un Mejor Manaña: The Environment and Our Communities.

    5. College Life: Exploring Your Opportunities By Expanding Your Networks (High School Students Only).
    6. Don't Just Build a Great Church, Build a Great Community: Churches, Community Development and Organizing.
    7. Immigration Reform: Camino a la Cuidadania.
    8. The Nuts & Bolts of the Appointment Process: New Jersey State Boards and Commissions.
    9. Financial Planning: Strategies for Building, Protecting and Transferring Wealth.

Registration

  1. Is there a cost to attend the Summit?

    Yes. Attending the summit is very economical. The cost is as follows:

    All Day-Workshops:

    • $30.00 - Which includes access to all workshops, breakfast and lunch, provided through the Rowan University cafeteria.

    Gala & Late-Night party (Students are not permitted to the Gala)

    • $60.00 - Which includes dinner, access to gala awards ceremony, gala keynote speaker, and late night party.

    Combination Ticket - Which includes access to all workshops, breakfast and lunch, provided through the Rowan University cafeteria. Also, the combination ticket includes dinner, access to gala awards ceremony, gala keynote speaker, and late night party.

    • $90.00 - Includes both the all-day workshop and Gala ($10 discount if you register before September 10, 2016)

    College Students All-Day Workshops (thanks to the sponsors, we can waive the cost to 50 college students; they must email us with their information.

    • $20.00 - Includes access to all workshops, breakfast and lunch, provided through the Rowan University cafeteria.

    High School Students All-Day Workshops

    • $15.00 - Which includes access to all workshops, cultural celebration and symposium, breakfast and lunch, provided through the Rowan University cafeteria. School district might have foundations or under Title 1 whereby stuents will not pay and get a school bus to and from Rowan University, Glassboro, NJ
